Florida Septic Pumping & Service Directory

About this directory

The Florida Septic Directory helps Florida homeowners find companies that pump, inspect, repair and install septic systems. We are an independent directory. We do not perform septic work, and the contractors listed here are separate businesses.

How companies are checked

Before a company is listed, we visit its own website and confirm two things: which septic services it offers, and which Florida cities or counties it says it serves. A company appears on a city page only if its website names that city or its county, and on a service page only if its website lists that service. We show "24/7 (per company website)" only when the company's own website says it offers 24/7 service; we do not test this, so call to confirm. The directory currently lists 63 companies.

A "Registered with Florida DEP" badge appears only after we have looked up the contractor's septic registration and the business's authorization number on Florida DEP's public register. The badge shows when we checked; registrations can lapse or change after that, so check DEP's register yourself. We do not inspect work, verify insurance or guarantee results. Please check registration, insurance and references yourself before hiring.

How listings are ordered

Contractors can pay for featured placement. On city, county, service and region pages, featured listings are labeled "Featured · Paid" and shown first, with a one-line note on the order beside each list. Next come companies headquartered in the city, county or region the page covers, then everyone else, with each group in alphabetical order. Payment does not change the information shown. We do not show ratings or review counts; check a company's reviews on Google or other review sites before you hire. Companies that state they serve all of Florida appear in a separate statewide section.

How our guides and figures are researched

Our guides are written for Florida homeowners and built from primary and published sources, which are listed on each page: the Florida Statutes and Chapter 62-6 of the Florida Administrative Code for septic rules, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and county health departments for permits, the U.S. EPA for maintenance guidance, the U.S. Census Bureau for population and housing figures, and published cost guides (such as This Old House, HomeGuide and Fixr) for price ranges. City facts are checked claim by claim against their sources before they are published. Cost figures and permit office details were last checked in November 2026.

We are not engineers, inspectors or contractors, so our guides are general information. Your septic contractor and your county's septic permit office have the final word on what your home needs. When a rule, contact or price range changes, we update the page; if you spot something out of date, please tell us through the contact form.

How the site is funded

Basic listings are free. When you request quotes through our form, your request is shared with contractors who serve your area. Contractors can also pay for featured placement, which is labeled "Featured · Paid" and shown first on the pages where they are listed; see advertise with us.

Corrections and removals

If you run a listed business and something is wrong or out of date, or you would like your listing removed, use our contact form and mention the business name.
