Diagnosing, repairing and replacing drain fields (leach fields), including raised mound systems.
People in Clermont usually look for drain field repair because of a drain field that no longer absorbs wastewater, shown by soggy ground, odors or slow drains. Lake County's septic replacement program is limited to unincorporated areas inside a state basin plan, so homes inside Clermont's city limits are not currently eligible. Compare 14 septic companies serving Clermont and ask each one why the drain field failed, whether a partial repair is possible and what the permit requires.
Even in Clermont, where 34% of homes are newer than 2010, a drain field can fail early if the tank is not pumped and solids reach the field, or if vehicles compact the ground over it.

The Clermont Chain of Lakes (Minneola, Minnehaha, Louisa and 12 smaller lakes) is linked by the Palatlakaha River. If sewage is backing up into the house or pooling in the yard, call a septic company.
