Diagnosing, repairing and replacing drain fields (leach fields), including raised mound systems.
Homes around Sanford and across Seminole County sit on sandy soils and a seasonal high water table. Drain Field Repair here means diagnosing why the drain field failed and repairing or replacing it, sometimes as a raised mound system. This page lists 16 septic companies that serve Sanford (population 61,051).
About 29% of Sanford's homes predate 1980. Drain fields don't last forever, and on older septic systems a field that has absorbed decades of wastewater is more likely to slow down or fail.

One listing is based in Sanford: Flush and Go Drain & Septic Cleaning LLC. The other 15 come from Orlando, Clermont, Groveland and other towns. 13 of the 16 also offer septic tank pumping, useful because solids from a tank that goes too long without pumping can clog a drain field; our listings for Absolute Best Plumbing, All PRO Services Co, Septic and Sitework and Johnny Jones Plumbing don't include it. 6 state 24/7 service on their own website.

The St. Johns River at Sanford, including Lake Monroe, reached record flood stage after Ian in October 2022. After high water, it helps to keep water use low while the ground over the drain field is wet. If sewage is backing up into the house or pooling in the yard, call a septic company.
